Research Activities

My research activities deal with the analysis of measurements of atmospheric radiation made from space by various instruments including infrared and microwave vertical sounders in order to derive information on the evolution and variability of climate. A particular focus of my studies concerns the monitoring of greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, CO), and related variables, such as fire emissions, in order to improve our understanding of carbon sources and sinks at the surface.In that context, I am involved in the design of new space missions, such as the new generation of hyperspectral sounders (IASI-NG of CNES), the active mission Merlin or the passive SWIR mission Microcarb, as well as new measurement techniques.
